The aim of this assignment was to get familiar with Houdini, and learn how to set up a procedural system. After a few months working in Houdini I was able to create an asset that allows the user to generate a Greek temple. The user had the ability to set the length and width of the temple, as well as its height. These parameters adjust the style of the temple to mimic historical accuracy.
To expand upon houdini's procedural modeling capabilities, I have been working on a landscape and greeble generator.
The greeble generator allows its user to import a base mesh, those are simple shapes with 4 sided polygons. Then the asset will add complex adjustable greeble on top of it. In the examples below you can see the application of this asset. Both the torus and temple contain greeble generated with this asset.
